Stuart Western Toys of the 1950s-60s

Welcome to the Stuart Western Toy website – originally, Those Elusive Stuarts. Over 25 years ago I started this website to provide information and to connect with others who love these toys. In the 1950s, they were my favorite toys. They were well made, affordable and the horses were beautiful. Many years later I longed to have them again. Nothing turned up locally at vintage and resale places. Searching the Internet, I found that not much was known about them. So I began gathering information as I started a collection. And I discovered others that were looking for these childhood toys, just like me. Eventually, enough leads were found for me to contact the former Stuart company owner of the Stuart western toy era (see the History Page).
